TAPE CASTING TUTORIAL
Making casts of objects using tape is something I figured out as a kid after borrowing the teacher's tape off her desk. I use it as a basis for most of my projects and b/c of the interest from people on the process, I've put up this tutorial which will take you through the basic steps.
To make your first tape cast you'll need the folowing:
- packing tape
- plastic wrap
- scissors or a razor knife
- and an object you'd like to cast (not yourself)
I'm demonstrating the process here using the baby used for the Storker Project
